Software that understands where it runs
Locohozt Technologies was founded on a straightforward observation: the software most Nigerian organisations were being sold had been designed for somewhere else. It handled tax the wrong way, assumed connectivity that did not exist, and expected processes nobody here follows.
So we built our own. Our payroll system calculates PAYE, pension, NSITF, NHF and GLI because those are the deductions our clients actually make. Our cooperative software was written with accountants who have sat on the Ministry of Cooperative Society for years. Our school system came from spending time in bursaries, not from a requirements document.
That local grounding is the differentiator — but it has never been an excuse for lower standards. The engineering, the security and the support we hold ourselves to are the same ones any international client would expect, which is why our work travels.
